The World Boxing Council (WBC) will hold its 51st convention at the five star Centara Grand Hotel located at the World Trade Centre in central Bangkok.

This is will be the first convention in Thailand since the WBC formed a separate division for Muay Thai that is administered from the offices of the Asian Boxing Council in Bangkok under WBC MUAYTHAI Chairman Pol General Kovid Bhakdibhumi, Vice President of the WBC.

The convention will begin with a media launch at the Foreign Correspondence Club of Thailand on the evening of 1ST Friday November.

Tuesday 5 November is the official day for Muay Thai lectures and seminar from 11 am to 4 pm beginning with a buffet lunch hosted by the Asian Boxing Council. Lectures will cover Muay Thai rules and regulations, international safety standards as well as Thai culture and Muay Thai heritage. Official certificates will be presented to attendees.

Delegates can book rooms at the Centara Grand Hotel located near to the Skytrain Central Station at the special room rate of $160 for single and $180 for double.
